Since getting married to my wife over forty years ago, my mother-in-law (Mummy Mrs. Felicia Adeyemi Durowaiye) has been a really true Mummy to myself, my wife and all children in my house.
My own mother died a few years after our wedding, so my mother-in-law naturally took over the responsibility of mothering me, my wife and all the children. She did that with great commitment and love.
We will surely and definitely miss “granny, granny” as she was popularly called all the time at home now that she has passed unto Glory to meet with our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is indeed a great shock that granny has finally left us to join the Lord until we meet and part no more.
The great love, truthfulness, hard work she imparted on us cannot be underestimated.
Also the love and fear of God she taught us.
I will end this tribute by saying may God grant her soul eternal rest in His Kingdom and may we retain all the goodness she taught us so that one day we will eventually meet to part no more.
E sun re oo Granny!! Adieu !!
